Our hotel’s commitment is and always will be the health and safety of our guests and Employees. COVID-19 has changed every facet of our world and the way we conduct business. We have updated our cleaning guidelines and implemented additional processes and procedures to ensure your health, safety and comfort. These protocols will allow our Employees to provide exceptional service in a safe environment. Our processes and procedures, follow the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) and local and/or federal mandates. Protocols and guidelines from these authorities are expected to evolve and we will adjust our procedures accordingly.

Guest Room Care

The hotel uses CDC-approved disinfecting products that are effective against COVID-19 and other viruses. Housekeeping Employees will implement additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols with special attention paid to high-touch items.

Social Distancing

Physical indicators will be placed at the front desk and other key waiting areas to help guests maintain proper social distancing. There is also a barrier at the front desk to help keep both staff and guests socially distanced and protected.

High Touch Objects

The hotel is more frequently disinfecting high-touch surfaces with a focus on door handles, countertops, elevator buttons, handrails, and light switches. The front desk, secure payment solutions, and bell carts are also being disinfected after each use.

Staff Safety Protocols

Employees are required to follow CDC guidelines with frequent handwashing, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and COVID-19 Training. Employees are also required to undergo mandatory temperature checks at the start of each shift.

Guest Communication

In the interest of social distancing, guests can voluntarily provide phone numbers at check-in to receive mobile messages via cell phone text. They can then request items without having to come down to the desk or interact with the staff in person.

Transportation/Valet

Currently we are not offering Valet services. When we do resume all valet drivers will wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment PPE and using Ticketless valet system/ mobile payment solutions. Valet will Increase cleanliness and grooming standards to ensure safety and provide additional comfort to the guest, and Sanitize door handles inside and out, steering wheels, dashes, shifters and keys.

Fitness Center

Currently our fitness center is closed per the state of Minnesota guidelines. Once we have approval to open we will impose social distancing by using every other machine. The room will also be disinfected every hour and will be logged after each cleaning. We have installed additional santiation stations for guest use such as hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes.

Common Areas

Common area and public spaces will be set up for social distancing and space capacities will be redefined. The hotel has increased the frequency of cleaning, disinfected and santizing high-touch surfaces and areas with a focus on door handles, countertops, elevator buttons and handrails. Elevator capacities will be adjusted to allow for proper social distancing.

Meeting Spaces

Meeting and event space capacities will be adjusted to follow the Centers for Disease Control guidelines for proper social distancing. Cleaning procedures and protocols will be followed to ensure the safety of attendees and Employees. Banquet menu offerings will continue to be high quality, but will be adjusted to limit overall contact.
